It’s been two days since I got here and after a rough start I finally feel at ease. Due to some anxiety for being on my own in combination with the heaviest of jetlags, the first 1½ days were quite bad I must admit. Until yesterday evening I had no appetite at all and I slept on the most crazy hours. But today I’m feeling quite good and most of the necessities has been bought for my apartment. I’m very thankful for my school (ECC) being extremely helpful during my first day: they sent a person to meet me up at the airport and then they made sure I made it to my apartment and such.

The placement test I had yesterday morning went okay considering my poor condition at the time, though it didn’t really help that I forgot my latest textbook at home and I haven’t studied Japanese at all since last November. Anyway, they descided to put me in upper beginner’s class which made me feel a bit bad since the course i took last fall was an intermediate one. I chose the communication course though, which consists of a lot of conversation classes and since I feel a bit rusty not exerting the language for some time I guess upper beginner’s will fit me well. Time will tell!

Also, I made a few friends at school yesterday which felt very nice and we’re actually making a trip to Kyoto tomorrow already! It’s a good time to go on some trips since school doesn’t start until next week. I’m excited! Since I have tomorrow to look forward to I’ve decided to make this Saturday a working day, so work it is!
By the way, No Tidehunter has advanced to the StarLadder Grand Finals in Kiev undefeated. The Grand Finals (best of 5) will be played tomorrow (Sunday) at 19:00 CET, don’t miss it if you like Dota 2!
